It is realized with high-quality steel and heat treatment for more strength and wears resistance.

The teeth of the gears are realized with a GLEASON cut. The Gleason technology produced a high quality of precision and superficial finishing.

The Gleason cut allows transmitting more torque and more fuel efficiency.

It's important to follow carefully the instructions (included with ring and pinion) and the procedure of the running-in in because is important to avoid damage from overheating.

Every overheating or overload during the running-in can take break the oil film and consequential damage to the ring and pinion.

PROCEDURE:

• after the fitting drive carefully for 20-30 minutes, you will stop for cooling down the oil for 2 hours.
  
• avoid heavy acceleration for the first 800 km
  
• do not tow or do off-road for the first 800km
  
• after running-in, replace the oil and check the adjustment of the ring and pinion
  

This may seem unnecessary but it is very easy to damage the ring and pinion before it is run.

New ring and pinion create excess heat when are new because the teeth must be run in. Excess heat can damage the ring and pinion.

IMPORTANT:

• it is important to follow the instructions for the correct fit of the ring and pinion.
  
• an incorrect oil will damage the ring and pinion. It is necessary to use oil GL5 with characteristics "EP" (extreme pressure).
  
• an incorrect oil, old oil, or a lower level oil can "burn" the ring and pinion and wear the teeth of this one (the teeth will reduce more and can be broken).
